Twinfield is an online accounting platform for accountants and mid-sized businesses, owned by Wolters Kluwer, the Dutch information services group listed on Euronext Amsterdam. The product was founded in 2000 by Andre Kwakernaat in Hoevelaken, Netherlands, and acquired by Wolters Kluwer in 2011. It manages over 80,000 administrations through hundreds of accountancy firms, primarily in the Netherlands, the UK, and Scandinavia. Twinfield provides a full general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliation, management accounting, and financial reporting. It supports multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-company operations, making it suitable for organizations with international structures. The platform connects to Dutch banks (ABN AMRO, Rabobank, ING) for automated transaction imports and includes budgeting, project accounting, and credit management modules. Multiple users can work on the same data simultaneously in real time. Pricing in the UK starts at approximately £25 per user per month for basic data entry, rising to £63.75 per user per month for complete accounting. The Dutch market offers additional pricing tiers. Twinfield integrates with other Wolters Kluwer products, including Basecone for document management, and provides web services for API connectivity with CRM and ERP systems.
