Fortnox is Sweden's leading cloud-based business administration platform, used by over 600,000 businesses, most of them sole traders and small companies. The company is headquartered in Vaxjo, Sweden, and was founded in 2001. In 2025, EQT, a Swedish private equity firm, took Fortnox private at a valuation of approximately $5.5 billion. The platform offers modular products covering accounting, invoicing, payroll, expense management, time tracking, and CRM.
