Scaleway is a full-stack European cloud provider operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Iliad Group. Based in Paris, the company runs nine data centers powered by 100% renewable energy across three regions: Paris (3 availability zones), Amsterdam, and Warsaw. Managed database services cover PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, and ClickHouse, along with a serverless SQL database built on PostgreSQL. Starting prices for managed databases begin at approximately €7 per month for cost-optimized development instances. Object storage is S3-compatible with standard multi-zone, single-zone, and Glacier cold storage classes, the latter archived 25 meters underground in Paris. Storage pricing starts at roughly €12 per TB per month. Scaleway's compute lineup includes virtual instances on AMD EPYC and Ampere ARM processors, Elastic Metal bare metal, Dedibox dedicated servers, and Apple Silicon Mac mini instances. GPU offerings feature NVIDIA Blackwell B300 SXM alongside H100 and L40S. Managed Kubernetes is available through Kapsule (single-cloud) and Kosmos (multi-cloud), supplemented by serverless functions and containers. Scaleway serves over 25,000 businesses in 160 countries, including AI companies Mistral AI and Kyutai. It holds ISO 27001 and HDS certifications, with SecNumCloud in progress.
