3DS Outscale is the cloud infrastructure arm of Dassault Systèmes, the French industrial software giant. The company deploys and manages its own server hardware within partner data center facilities, operating 16 data centers across Europe, North America, and Asia. In France, Outscale runs a SecNumCloud-qualified region with three availability zones. Outscale became the first cloud operator to achieve SecNumCloud 3.2 qualification in December 2023, positioning it as a reference platform for French sovereign cloud requirements. It has since launched Kubernetes as a Service (OKS) as the first managed dedicated Kubernetes offering on a SecNumCloud 3.2 cloud. The platform also hosts Mistral AI's commercial models through an LLM-as-a-Service offering. Core IaaS services include compute instances, block and object storage, networking, and security groups. Outscale holds ISO 27001, HDS, and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications and is certified for TISAX (automotive industry). It is a CISPE member and Gaia-X founding member. Primary customers include French government agencies, defense organizations, healthcare institutions, and critical infrastructure operators. Pricing is enterprise and contact-based.
